While the processes behind the Corvalis TTX’s all-composite construction are complex, the resulting advantages are not: a superior strength, stability and durability that are unparalleled within the class. In fact, during a six-month test, the Corvalis TTX underwent 171,000 cycles of fatigue testing—the equivalent of 120 years of service life. The airframe remained indifferent to the punishment, and was still fit and ready to take to the air.

The combination of the Corvalis TTX’s integral leading-edge wing cuff and elevator features provide docile, predictable low-speed handling characteristics with full aileron authority – even at stall speed. Every exterior surface of the aircraft (fuselage, wings and flight controls) is imbedded with lightning mesh to effectively and safely dissipate the adverse effects of a lightning strike. Additionally, static wicks on the trailing edge of the wings and elevator allow static build-up to be discharged safely without affecting avionics functionality or disrupting other electrical systems.
